Wakeboarders - Adderley Street Fountain

Fox Clothing South Africa were in Cape Town for the Pro - X, which went down in Malmesbury over the weekend. Part of the event was a wakeboarding demonstration but this was cancelled when the pools holding the water broke open, spilling 200 00 litres of water and ruining any chance of riding.

Determined to get into water of some kind they guys packed everything up and headed in search of a spot to ride, arriving in downtown city centre. There were a few waders in the Adderley fountain and that looked like the perfect opportunity to get wet.

Pie Charts- The Ones Maths Never Taught Us

Posted by Meg Laubscher in Untagged

Meg Laubscher
For all those who suffered and struggled through Maths at school, who fell victim to the cruel onslaught of Algebra, logarythms, trigonometry, those who couldn't use a protractor or draw a graph, who fell asleep in class and never quite grasped the simple functionality of proportions and applying them to pie and bar charts. But most importantly this is especially for all those who spent Hours at Mr Chipolats Extra Maths Class's feeling incompetent and insignificant when 89 minutes of the 90 minutes were incomprehendable (partly due to his accent and his untimely and innapropriate references to his wife, disco's+drugs, his other classes, his vacations and the odd swear word and curse in Italian) this is for you....Who said maths shapes couldn't entertain...!
